In this auction like the previous auctions, unsold items are not offered for direct sale after auction ends! please bid and participate during the auction!

The sale commission is 20% + VAT on the commission only. in a week time from the auction.

A fee of 5% will be added to late payments.

In this auction to Israeli clients, payment will be possible directly upon completion of the auction (the second part)

You will receive the invoice for payment and then you can choose the requested shipping method.

Please note the different costs: courier delievery as well as the different registered shipping costs depending on the weight.

If you are unsure about the shipping cost (registered upon weight or special complicated/breakable items) please contact us before making the payment.

Buyers from abroad will receive an invoice within a business day from the end of the auction including the shipping cost for the items purchased and will be able to pay online by credit card.

We only use the Israeli Post services or DHL (more expensive).

Shippments can be choosen in one of forward options:

1. Registered shippping (Israel post) prices:

Up to 2 kilo at a cost of 28 NIS

2-5 Kilo cost 35 NIS.

5-10 kilo cost 40 NIS

10-20 kilo cost 50 NIS

2. Courier mail of Israel Post for a package of reasonable size (up to 50X50X50 cm) and up to 20 kilos at a cost of only NIS 45. (Warranty and insurance according to the terms of delivery of Israel Mail packages only!)


We try to get the deliveries out of the gallery within two business days at the latest. The delivery time of the items depends on the Israeli post and global post work. Each buyer who pays on delivery, will receive a detailed email with the tracking number and a link to the tracking on the mail site accordingly.

"Amanot" publishing house, Frankfurt, 1922., 262 pp., In this first edition, only the first volume was published. On front endpaper there is a dedication in Hebrew by Shmariahu Imber, the brother of the poet Naftali-Hertz Imber, author of the Israeli anthem Hatikvah, to Lazar Krestin, famous Jewish German artist, 1923.
Hard cloth gold stamped cover, upper gold edge, 25.5 x 18 cm.
Condition: wear and rubbing to cover and spine; tear tihinge of spine; foxing stains to most of pages.
Weight: 850 gr.
Shmariahu ben Shmuel Ya'akov Imber was born in G Bader February 26, 1868. The brother of Naftali Hertz Imber. Immigrated to Israel in 1933. Died in Jerusalem on May 29, 1950.
Lazar Krestin (10 September 1868, Kaunas – 28 February 1938, Vienna) was an artist famous in the German art world for Judaic genre scenes and his many sober portraits of Eastern European Jews. He was also a noted Zionist.
His father was a Talmud teacher. His first lessons were at the drawing school in Vilnius, followed by studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich and he was one of the most prominent students of Isidor Kaufmann. He worked in Munich, Vienna and Odessa before going to Jerusalem in 1910 at the request of Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design founder, Boris Schatz. He later returned to Vienna and is buried in the Zentralfriedhof.
Alter Druyanov (Hebrew: אלתר דרויאנוב) (July 6 1870 – May 10, 1938) was a Russian Jewish writer, editor, translator, folklorist, journalist, historian of early Zionism, and Zionist activist. His pen name derived from his birthplace, Druya, was variously transliterated as Druyanow, Drujanow, etc.) He wrote both in Yiddish and Hebrew languages.[1]
