The collection of legalizations and orders of the workers 'and peasants' government (SU RSFSR) — the official publication of the government of Soviet Russia 1917-1938 years, published texts of legal acts of state authorities of the RSFSR: the decrees and resolutions of the all-Russian Congress of Soviets, Central Executive Committee, SNK of the RSFSR, the Council of workers 'and peasants' defence Council of labor and defense, the Supreme Council of National Economy, as well as international treaties of the Russian Federation.

The predecessor of the publication was the Collection of laws and Orders of the Government, published under the Governing Senate-the printing body of the Provisional Government of Russia.

The first issue of the SU was published on December 1, 1917, after a short break. Then the first decrees of the Soviet government were published here: the Decree on Peace, the Decree on Land, etc. (before that, decrees and resolutions of the Soviet government were published in newspapers, including: "Gazeta of the Provisional Workers' and Peasants 'Government", "Izvestia of the Central Executive Committee and the Petrograd Soviet of Workers 'and Soldiers 'Deputies", "Pravda", etc.). Not all officially published acts of the Soviet government, including the decrees of the SNK, were submitted to the SU. In some cases, the compilers of the SU significantly edited the source texts of normative legal acts. As a result, the texts of some of the acts included in the SU differ from both archival originals and from the first official publications in the periodical press.

With the formation of the USSR, after the formation of state authorities of the USSR, from mid-1923, their acts were also published in the SU of the RSFSR (starting in September 1924, union acts began to be published in the "Collection of Laws and Orders of the Workers 'and Peasants' Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics").

From the second half of the year (from No. 51) of 1924 to August 1938, the SU of the RSFSR was published under the title "Collection of Laws and Orders of the Workers 'and Peasants' Government of the RSFSR".

Since 1939, the SU of the RSFSR was changed to another edition - " Collection of resolutions and orders of the Government of the RSFSR (SP RSFSR)", which was published until 1992.
