תרגום השבעים הוא השם שניתן לתרגום המקרא ליוונית קוינה במאה השלישית והשנייה לפני הספירה. בתחילה תורגמו חמשה חומשי תורה על ידי יהודים וכעבור 350 שנה תורגמו ספרים מקראיים אחרים על ידי הנוצרים. בראשיתו, התרגום נועד לשמש את היהדות דוברת-היוונית באגן הים התיכון, בייחוד באלכסנדריה.
