A commentary to the Tur and Beit Yosef, with glosses, corrections, annotations, and insights by the Great Rabbi Yaakov Emden. Printed at the author's residence in Altona.

In the omissions at the end of Part A, the author relates several miracles that happened to him, leading him to commit to days of celebration. Among them is a story of him studying Tur Orach Chaim late at night, dozing off, and nearly burned from the candle that had been lit on his table.

On the third page, ownership notation in the handwriting of "Nathan Dov Segal."

On the title page, the signature in the holy handwriting of the Great Rabbi Azriel Hildesheimer, and beneath it, his signature from the time of his rabbinate in the community of Eisenstadt.

Rabbi Dr. Azriel Hildesheimer (1806–1899): A leader in the Neo-Orthodox movement in Germany, he founded the Rabbinical Seminary in Berlin, emphasizing Torah scholarship alongside secular education.

The Great Rabbi Yaakov Emden – The Yaavetz (1718–1786): The eldest son of the "Chacham Zvi." An exceptional scholar in all areas of Torah, he was considered one of the greats of his generation, known for his zealousness. He authored numerous books, and a significant portion of them was printed in the printing house he established in his home in Altona.

Part A: Seder Hayom (Sections 1-240). [2], 2-63, 65-69, 69-112 [should be 113]. 34 cm. Very good condition. Some pages professionally restored at the margins. Slight tear on the title page. Dark paper. A splendid copy with a new and ornate leather binding featuring gold embellishments.
