Segula Book.

Tehillim with ‘Diglei Hodaya and Mitzva’ and Ma’amadot of the Maharik mi-Apta ztz”l.

Includes the rare title page.
Significant and rare Tehillim. Printed in Zhitomir 1866 by Rabbi Aryeh Leib Shapira, grandson of Rabbi Moshe Shapira of Slavita and son-in-law of Rabbi Baruch Hager of Vizhnitz.

Included in this Tehillim are the sefarim ‘Diglei Hodaya u-Mitzva’ and ‘Ma’amadot’ authored by the saintly Apter Rebbe.
This Segula book was printed with two title pages. On the first and most rare title page, the words ‘Tehillim’ and ‘Yerushalayim’ are printed in accentuated red letters.
At the front of the book appears and interesting list detailing the names of those who pre-ordered the book at a reduced price. Prominent personalities included in this list are Rabbi Shlomo of Premishlan – brother of the Admor of Nadvorna, Rabbi Moshe Todros of Zhitomir, Rabbi Nissan Beck, Rabbi Yechiel Tzvi Heilpern among others. It is fascinating to read how Jews from even the most isolated, small villages placed a pre-order for a copy of this book.

In addition to this list, prominent approbations from both renowned Ashkenazi and Sefardi Torah giants residing in the holy city of Jerusalem, are including in this book.
‘Seder Ma’amadot’ as was arranged by the holy Apter Rebbe is appended to the end of the book. It commences with a list including all the sons of the holy Rabbi Yitzchak of Skver; Rabbi Avraham Heshel of Skver, Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Shpikov, Rabbi Yisrael and Rabbi Dovid of Skver among others.
The book of ‘Ma’amadot’ by the Ari HaKadosh zt”l, concludes with these words:
“Go and happily eat your bread and drink your wine joyfully, since G-d has shown favor to your deeds".

Zhitomir 1866. Rabbi Aryeh Leib Shapira, grandson of the Rabbi of Slavita.
Good condition. Likely that 3 pages at the end of the book of ‘Ma’amadot’ are missing; between ‘Tikkun HaSe’uda’ and ‘Bracha Acharona’. The first title page is restored. A number of pages have slight adhesions. Overall, this copy is in very good condition.
