Sefer Tikunei HaZohar. Printed by Rabbi Moshe Shapira. Slavita 1821. Wonderful Copy.

“Fortunate is the one who heeds his words to submerse himself daily at his doors”.

Kabbala book by the G-dly Tanna, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai; annotated by the Kabbalist Rabbi Yaakov Vilna. Printed in the prominent printing house of Rabbi Moshe Shapira, son of Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz.

Complete and beautiful copy, printed on wide spreads of mainly blue-tinged paper.

Important approbations appear at the front of the book from the Rabbis of Berdichev, Sudilkov and Zaslaw. The book’s name and place of printing appear in the famous Slavita red lettering.

Rabbi Moshe Shapira: A Chassidic Rabbi and printer, Rabbi Moshe served as the Rabbi of Slavita. His father, Rabbi Pinchas Shapira of Koritz was a primary disciple of the holy Ba’al Shem Tov, a Chassidic giant of the 18th century. Rabbi Moshe’s printing house earned great accolades by Chassidic greats, who attributed great holiness to it.

“It is well known that the famed Chassid, son of holy men, Rabbi Moshe Shapira, Head of the Slavita Bet Din, together with his sons, light up the world with their precious books that they print…”

Slavita 1821. Moshe Shapira.

Complete, superb copy. Some pages slightly wormy. Some pages with old staining, but copy is nonetheless most impressive. Semi-leather, modern binding.
