Altona 1874 - Long dedication 3 teachers of Altona Talmud Torah to Principal. [Henry Kissinger's Uncle?].
2 pages in nice handwriting, where the 3 teachers praise their principal and present hi, with 3 books. The teachers are Rabbi Yochanan Witkover, Moshe B"r Shmuel Deitschlander, Meir B"r Avraham Kissinger (perhaps Henry Kissinger's uncle]. Name of the principal is not mentioned.
Talmud Torah school of Altona was established by Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch's grandfather - Menahem Mendl Frankfurter, and was later headed by Isaak Bernays. We do not know who was principal of the school in 1874 when this letter was written.
Henry Kissinger's uncle was named Meir and his father, Kissinger's grandfather, was named Avraham. Meir was born in 1874, so that in 1874 he was around 18.
