Rabbi Yehezkel Shraga Halberstam of Shinawa was born in the year of 1814 as the firstborn son of his Rebbe Rabbi Chaim Matzan Zatzokel, the author of "Divrei Chaim", from his childhood became known for his talents and was a favorite of the righteous generation. He served as rabbi of Shinawa, and in the year 1948 began to serve as a master and was considered the great successor of his father, and from all over Galicia flocked to his door. Died in 1880.
