Letter from the Genius Rabbi Shlomo Bravda, London, 1970


A handwritten and signature letter by Rabbi Shlomo Bravda regarding the impact of the lessons he gave, on his life and his health, addressed to his brother-in-law Rabbi Ephraim Greenblatt, London 1970.


In his letter, Rabbi Bravda describes about lessons he gave in Gatesd and in the Hendan neighborhood: "I told 4 Shiurim at Kollel, Yeshiva, etc. Two weeks ago, I went there for the wedding of Rabbi Schwab's daughter... and I told awakening words about Purim at Kollel, and all the Yeshiva members came, And homeowners and teachers from the teacher's seminar, etc., a few hundred ... and the next day i return home and was very tired ... " Likewise, Rabbi Bravda describes a lesson that he gave to sixty people - notes in Megillah and 'And everyone was satisfied but I'm tired'. It was during a time when Rabbi Bravda suffered various complications in his stomach and the doctors ordered him to reduce eating.
On the margins of the letter, the genius adds to tell about "Pamphlet on Chanukah and Megillah" published by Rabbi Haim Aharon Torchin in Jerusalem at the time, and praised for important things he brought from the Griz' Genius of Brisk, and other matters.

The genius of Rabbi Shlomo Leib Brvada (1931-2014), one of the greatest musar owners of our generation. Study in Lakewood and Mir yeshiva. Authored a number of books, including 'Amalah shel torah''. In 1968, he traveled to London to receive medical treatment, and in 1988 he divided his time between the US and Bnei Brak.

The genius Rabbi Ephraim Greenblatt (1914-1932), one of the greatest halachic in our generation, and the distinguished disciple of Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, late author of responsa 'revavot Ephraim'.
