The first cover of the Czech postal service bears a stamp with the painting of the boy Peter Ginz who perished in Terezin at the age of 14. The painting shows an imaginary view from space, with the earth visible in the background and symbolizing the farthest place to which Peter aspired.
A copy of this painting was carried by Ilan Ramon on his flight to the moon as a symbol of the realization of the dream of a child who perished in the Holocaust.
On the back of the sealed envelope was a Pressburger farm. The sister of Peter Ginz who survived the Holocaust.
