Awesome Prayer with the Rasha"sh's Intentions, Recited Daily by Kabbalist Rabbi Yehudah Pattiyah

Chilling Kabbalistic prayer to be recited during times of distress for the salvation of the Jewish people from those rising up against them, written in ink on parchment, concealed by the G-dly Kabbalist Rabbi Yehudah Pattiyah inside his siddur. He would read from it at the end of the Shmoneh-Esreh prayer, before 'Oseh Shalom.' On the back of the piece of parchment, there is a [19-word] self-dedication in Rabbi Pattiyah's hand and with his signature. [Baghdad], 1939.

The prayer was handwritten in the script of the famous amulet-scribe, the Kabbalist Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov Berzani - Rabbi Pattiyah's disciple and nephew. At the top of the prayer, there is a notation: "Every Shmoneh-Esreh prayer, before 'Oseh Shalom, ' have this intention." After that, there are two lines with holy Names, in Assyrian script, vowelized and with tags. This is followed by the prayer itself, in Oriental script, and at the end, there are another three lines of holy Names and verses. The prayer, as stated, is for the salvation of the Jewish people from its enemies. Rabbi Pattyiah devoted his entire life to this purpose, as is renowned from his Kabbalistic activities during the Holocaust for the rescue of the Jewish people. (The text of the prayer is from the Rasha"sh and is printed at the end of the book  Emet L'Ya'akov "to be recited at times of distress.")

As mentioned, Rabbi Pattiyah prayed from this parchment before us three times a day, for three whole years, from 1939 until his passing.

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for brief biographies of  Rabbi Yehudah Pattiyah and  Rabbi Avraham Berzani.
