League for the War on Antisemitism - Collection of 1909 issues
mitteilungen aus dem verein zur - messages from the League for the War on Anti-Semitism. Berlin, Collection of 52 issues of the year 1909.
52 bound issues of the Anti-Semitism League Weekly. The weekly was published by a group of German scholars who saw the preoccupation with German anti-Semitism with the loss of German power, and advocated the unification of German talents in favor of Germany's success. The paper analyzes antisemitic phenomena in Germany from which the Germans have lost politically, and proposes to stop putting antisemitic ideologies at the top of the agenda. It is important to note that these were not Jewish supporters, and the defenses of the anti-Semitism phenomenon did not come to condemn the phenomenon itself. The weekly itself often contains antisemitic articles against the Jews, and in particular against the Jewish scholars and their political theories. The League came to condemn the phenomenon in terms of German utilitarianism only, and the wrong it found in anti-Semitism stemmed from the internal needs of the German nation, and not from the very fact that the phenomenon was wrong.
The weekly is extremely rare and is not found in libraries around the world.
52 sheets bound. Fragile paper. Good condition.
