Hebron Yeshiva - a large collection of documents from the founding of the yeshiva in Eretz Israel and in the transition to the Geula neighborhood in Jerusalem. 1920s and 1930s

A large collection of important documents from the founding of the 'Hebron - Knesset Israel' Yeshiva in Eretz Israel after moving from Salvodka in 1924 (following an order from the Lithuanian government requiring yeshiva students to enlist in the army), as well as documents related to the Moving of the yeshiva to the new Mishkan in the Geula neighborhood - in the 1930s. Most of the documents are typewritten, some are handwritten - the 1920s and 1930s.

Among the documents: An early document (1920s) that determines the form of yeshiva conduct in arriving in Eretz Yisrael in the name of the "applicant" Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Epstein: "Type: High Beit Midrash for Talmudic studies and Jewish morality and education of rabbis who specialize in Israel, And by it prepares students for the yeshiva, Language of instruction: "Hebrew, and until the next students from abroad who are the vast majority get used to speaking the language, the lessons are said in the Jewish language ... The [no.] students: 300 ...". An interesting document from the Education Department of the 'Government of Palestine' from 4/12/1926 regarding a license to open the Hebron Yeshiva, letter of appointment of Rabbi Aharon Cohen as Rosh Yeshiva after the death of Rabbi Yehuda Leib Hasman - 11/14/1935, Early document 'Hebron Yeshiva Knesset Israel Regulations' - Stencil Printing, and another document 'Hebron Yeshiva Knesset Israel Regulations - Mutual Association with Limited Liability' relating to the Yeshiva's dedications, and the yeshiva's activities in Israel and abroad outside the academic framework, Document signed by a representative of the Jerusalem Division District confirming the location of the Hebron Yeshiva in the Geula neighborhood of Jerusalem - June 1932, Documents dealing with changes in the yeshiva regulations, documents related to financial loans on behalf of the yeshiva (1938), documents related to the registration of the yeshiva under Ottoman law, and many other documents related to the conduct of the yeshiva, in relation to its neighbors, and more, which we did not thoroughly examine.

An important collection that sheds light on the glorified Hebron Yeshiva in its early years in the Land of Israel.
