Toldot Hagaon HaKadosh Baal HaLeshem - Biography of Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv – With a Gloss Handwritten by the Author - Rabbi Aryeh Levin

Toldot Hagaon HaKadosh Baal HaLeshem – Biography of Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv – With a Gloss Handwritten by the Author, Rabbi Aryeh Levin - Jerusalem, 1935. Second edition, with additions and corrections. On page 11, Gloss in the handwriting of the author - the Tzaddik Rabbi Aryeh Levin.

The book itself, in which Rabbi Aryeh Levin describes his path in the sanctity of his father-in-law, and in particular the depth and breadth of his knowledge of Kabbalah, and his leadership according to the secret, to which Rabbi Aryeh Levin himself witnessed, is extremely rare. And is an almost only source for many facts known about Baal HaLeshem. The Gaon Rabbi Avraham Elyashiv wrote about the book: "Rabbi Aryeh Levin Shlit'a had the privilege of approaching the late Rebbe in recent years while he was in Jerusalem ... and was a visitor to his house night and night and this sacred work is suitable for him to tell some of his praise for the benefit of the many ... ".

"It is fitting that the late holy genius write his history in a special and long book. For we will know how to worship this man of G-d who was in our generation "(from the words of Rabbi Aryeh Levin at the introduction).
