The secret testimony of General Moshe Peled about his actions at the Syrian foreground during the Six Day War

"Confidential" "The convict: Agir observation at the Syrian foreground" - the personal testimony of Major General Moshe Peled while serving as Deputy Commander of the 36th Division, on the Syrian front during the Six Day War - printing a stencil and Peled's signature. Extremely rare.

Two fascinating pages in which Peled describes in the first person his part from the first day of the Six Day War on the morning of June 5, 1967, until the end of the war on June 10. Peled testifies how, as part of an observation he made in the Megiddo area, he saw all the settlements in the HaHula Valley and Rosh Pina being bombed, and responded immediately by issuing an order for the batteries to open fire. He describes how he joined the 871st Battalion and instructed him to activate another battery: "After three repairs I hit the target and went to purpose fire, the vulnerability and effect were excellent ...". He also describes his part in the central decree, the order to open fire ordered by the 402nd Battalion, and further assault instructions he received in a momentary decision during the war.

IDF Major General Moshe (Musa) Peled [1926-2000] was recognized as one of the "Five Best Armored Commanders in History", along with General-Feldmarshal Erwin Rommel, General Creighton Abrams, General George Patton and General Israel Tal, at the Armored Museum in Fort Knox, Kentucky, in the United States in recognition of his division's fighting on the Syrian front during the Yom Kippur War and for his contribution to the development of the IDF's armored combat theory. During the Six Day War (June 5-10, 1967), Peled was the deputy commander of the 36th Division of Major General Elad Peled, which was originally intended to deploy a Syrian attack in the southern Golan Heights, but was directed to the Jordanian front at the beginning of the war.
