A CHINESE ANCESTOR PORTRAIT OF A SEATED OFFICAL. 19TH C.

Clayton and his wife were missionaries of the American Baptist Foreign Mission Society in charge of Wayland Academy, a missionary school in Hangzhou, China from 1912 to 1942. E.H.
