Silver jewelry box integrated with wood and carved seashell. Europe, end of the 19th/ beginning of the 20th century
Silver jewelry box for a bride, made with hammer work, welding, and cutting. Cover integrates mahogany wood, and in the center is a carved seashell with an illustration of Rachel’s Tomb, decorations of grapevines, and seashells at the edges. Total weight: 347g. Size 11x13cm. Height: 4.5cm. Cushioned with velvet on the inside, light defects, generally good condition.
