Ami Brown Collection 2 Anti-Semite Silver Medals Jew with Corn and Grain 1694
Two medals coined by Chrsitan Wermuth, 1694.
Interior: Jew holding a stick, on his back a sack of grains, and above hime a demon emptying the bag of its contents. Around appear the inscriptions: "Du Korn Iude" (The Corn Jew/The Grain Jew) and "Theure Zeit 1694" (the hunger period). Back: sifter, on its sides the inscription "Wer Korn Innehalt Dem Fluchen Die Leute Aber Segen Komt Über Den Der Es Verkauft" from The Book of Proverbs .
