12 full sets of photographs, published by Eric Matson, photographer of the American Colony and the Matson Photo Service: Tel Aviv (12 photographs); the Transjordan (12 photographs); Jericho, Jordan and the Dead Sea (12 photographs); Newer Jerusalem (12 photographs); Jerusalem City Gates (8 photographs); Ain Karem (12 photographs); Gethsemane (12 photographs); Bethlehem (12 photographs); Haifa and Mount Carmel (12 photographs); Cairo - The City (12 photographs); Cairo - The Pyramids and the Sphinx (8 photographs); Syria and Lebanon (15 photographs).
The photos carry the ink stamp of the Matson Photo Service.
Each set includes the original printed envelope, “The Matson Photo Service, Covering Historical Events in Palestine Since 1898”. On the back of each envelope is the description of all photographs included in the set. Enclosed is an advertising of the Matson Photo Service, specifying all the photo sets and their prices.
Dimensios of the photos: approximately 6.5X9.5 cm. Very good condition, wear.
The original envelopes are in fair-good condition, creases, tears, stains and wear.
