35 Photos from two sets of Palestine photo-views (Numbers 3 and 6), published by Hanania Bros. Photographic Dealers, Jerusalem. The photos were made by Elia Kahvedjian, an Armenian photographer based in Jerusalem, and the company photographer at the time, who eventually purchased it and changed its name to "Elia Photo Service". Circa 1930s. Including the original envelopes. The envelopes contain a printed card with titles of the 24 photos included in each set, some are missing. The photos document sites and occurrences in Palestine, including: Jewish beggar, searching a Jew and an Arab for arms, dancing the Debka, Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem, and the Jaffa Port.
Dimensions: approximately 9.5X6.5 cm. Very good condition on average, numbered in pencil on the back. Envelopes in fair condition (tears, stains, wear).
