Report on Jewish Refugees from Independence War in Haifa, 1948.
Report by the Refugee Bureau in Haifa, from July 1948, reporting the arrival of hundreds of Jewish families who lived in areas surrounded by Arab villages, starting the morning after the UN resolution on the partition (1/12/47) and the attempts to find housing, labour, education and health solutions.
7 pp plus a 1 page letter / circular. Very good condition.
