Imrei Bina—first edition, Sighet, 1897, copy of Rabbi Asher Anshel Weiss, hy”d
On Megillat Shir HaShirim, kabbalistic work authored by Rabbi Zvi Aryeh Frankel of Sighet, with endorsement by Rabbi Hananya Yom Tov Lifa Teitelbaum, the Yeitev Lev of Sighet, first edition Sighet 1897. Interesting signature of ownership. [4], 105 pages. Binding partially disconnected and worn, generally good condition. Rabbi Asher Anshil ben Rabbi Moshe Shlomo Weiss (1882-1944) was rabbi of the Nadi Palo community in the Siladi District of Transylvania. He studied under Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyamin Sofer. Authored “Shemen L’Mincha” including his commentary and divrei torah on sugiyot of Shas. Murdered in the Shoah together with his wife.
