Copy of Rabbi Yehuda Segel Rosner of Seklehid: Tikkunei HaZohar, first edition, with exegesis of the Gra. Vilna 1867
Important stamp of ownership: “Yehuda Segel Rosner” with more notes in the local language. Two covers, [5], 172 pages, 344 columns. The first pages are bound out of place, missing pages 2-3, at the end are corrections from Zohar Chadash, 42 pages (104 columns). Binding disconnected, no spine, some stains, generally good condition. Extremely interesting. At the beginning and end of the volume are interesting notes with kabbalistic guidelines. The handwriting spreads across 6 pages, uniform writing in good language, with small illustrations for understanding the content. The identity of the author (who seems quite learned) is unknown). Rabbi Yehuda Segel Rosner (1879-1944) was Av Beit Din of Seklehid and Tchap, an important rabbi of Hungary before the destruction of European Jewry in the Shoah. He led the yeshiva he founded in Seklehid, one of the most important and largest in Hungary. He was close to the Admors of Satmar. He was killed on the first day of Shavuot in Auschwitz.
