Nidrei Zerizin, Part I, novellae on Tractate Nedarim and the halachahs of nedarim, by Rabbi Shlomo Kluger. Zolkiew, 1939. First edition.
Rabbi Eliezer Zussman of Paks' signature is at the top of the title page. There is an interesting handwritten inscription on the flyleaf about the downfall of Czar Nicholas, possibly also handwritten by Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer.
The gaon Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer [1825-1903] was one of the leading rabbis of Hungary. He was a son of the gaon Rabbi Ephraim Fischel Sofer of Pressburg. He studied under the Chatam Sofer in his youth, and was also circumcised by him. After the Chatam Sofer's passing, he continued studying under his son, the author of Ktav Sofer, and under his disciple, the Mahara"m Schick. Due to his greatness, he served as a rabbi in a several communities simultaneously, yet he was known by the name of his city of residence, as the "Av Beit Din of Paks." He authored the books Et Sofer, HaMakneh, Damesek Eliezer, Yalkut Eliezer, and Mle'ah Ketoret. (For more about him, refer to: HeChatam Sofer V'Talmidav pp. 63-65).
