Roman Provincial coinage > Egypt > Claudius II: Potin Tetradrachm of Alexandria (22 x 21mm, 9.65g), Year 1 = 268 AD; laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right & legend AVT K KLAVDIOC CEB / Nike advancing facing right carrying wreath and palm & year date letters L-A on either side. References: BMC 2320, Milne 4222; EF, well struck & centered on thick, rough planchet; strong details, full legend & much/most of the beeded border; medallic strike.
