Roman Imperial ancient Fausta AE Follis coin, Antioch; GVF/AEF; RIC VII 76.1
Roman Imperial coinage > Fausta: AE Follis (19.5 x 18mm, 3.45g), Antioch mint struck AD 326; mantled bust facing right ( flattened face, tall portrait) & legend FLAV MAX FAVSTA AVG / Salus standing facing, head to left, with two children in her arms & legend SALVS REI-PVBLICAE + mintmark dot SMANTH in exergue. Reference: RIC VII Antioch 76.1 ( Neither RIC nor LRBC record an issue for Fausta with the pellet before the mintmark); GVF/AEF, well centered & struck on irregular flan, retains some luster + sharp clear legends; medallic alignment.
