R. Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar. Letter from R. Yechiel Labin of Zidichoiv Father in Law of R. Aaron of Belz
Autograph letter by R. Yechiel Labin of Zidichoiv-Makova to the Satmar Rov. He writes to be “mazkir” himself “Yechiel ben Rochel” before Rosh HaShona and also informs the Satmar Rov of the passing of his Rebbetzin. In addition, he is “mazkir” his daughter that she should give birth safely to a healthy child and his son in law “Yosef ben Rechel” i.e. R. Yosef Lieberman of Yerusholayim (Mishnas Yosef).
R. Yechiel Chaim Labin (1888-1983), was a scion of Zidichoiv. He was a Talmid of R. Dovid Moshe of Chortkov, R. Yechezkel Shraga of Shinniva and the Rebbes of Belz to whom he was related by marriage. Following World War One he settled in Makova after which he was known. His daughter Rebbetzin Chana (died 2013) was married to R. Aaron of Belz.
