The holy Ga'on Rabbi Aharon Shlomo Maharil author of To'ameha Chaim Zachu (Otzar HaRabbanim 1884), among the greatest Kabbalists in Lithuania and Jerusalem, born in Zagare, Lithuania. Disciple-associate of the famous Kabbalist author of the Leshem. Immigrated to Jerusalem in 1909 and was known as one of the greatest elderly Kabbalists in Jerusalem and leaders of the Sha'ar HaShamayim Yeshiva. Author of To'ameha Chaim Zachu, 3 sections (commentary on Sefer Etz Chaim by Rabbi Chaim Vital) as well as many other books. Passed away in Jerusalem in Cheshvan (1938).
