The agreement determines "mutual efforts… to demand the rights of the torah scholars… both communities will send emissaries to Constantinople and perhaps also to Damascus, [and the expenses will be] two thirds on the Ashkenazi community and one third on the Sephardi community".
Interesting historic document about the history of yeshivot during the period of the Ottoman Empire in Palestine.
One leaf, 34 cm. Fair condition, tears on margins, stains. Oriental-Rashi handwriting and Oriental handwriting.
