Various signatures, stamps of the "Bibliotika of Kovne Kollel". On the last leaf is a signature in the handwriting of Rabbi "Zvi Hirsh Rabinowitz of Kovne ben Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan".
Rabbi Zvi Hirsh Rabinowitz Spector-Rabinowitz (1848-1890), the oldest son of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spector Rabbi of Kovne. Served in the Mitav (Courland) rabbinate and rabbi and preacher in Vilnius. After his father's death, he succeeded him in the Kovne rabbinate and as head of the Kovne Kollel. He was a leader of the country's Jewry and was known as one of the outstanding Torah leaders of his generation.
