Hamon Chogeg, Passover Haggadah, with kabbalistic commentaries and explanations and halachic rulings in Ladino, by R. Elisha Chabillo (Mercado). Livorno [1794]. Printed by R. Yaakov Nunes Weiss [author of Chedvat Ya'akov].
The author, R. Elisha Chabillo, close disciple of R. David Pardo and author of the Avodat HaTamid siddur. This composition contains two commentaries - a commentary in Hebrew of kabbalistic homilies and a commentary in Ladino. With a Hebrew introduction by the author and a Ladino introduction titled: "Introduction for those who speak a foreign language, by the author".
[1], 70 leaves. 19.5 cm. Good condition. Stains, wine-stains and wear. Contemporary leather binding from time of printing, with gilt embossments. Rubbed corners.
