Family Letters - Abuchatzeira Family - Regarding the "Baba Meir", his son the "Baba Elazar" and his brother the "Baba Baruch"
Three interesting letters, internal family correspondence of the holy Abuchatzeira family. * Letter from R. Yitzchak Abuchatzeira [the "Baba Chaki"], to R. Machluf Krispin [son-in-law of the "Baba Meir"], requesting the return of "Sefer Lev David, a small book by the Chida, containing the Chida's signature". Ramle, [1959]. * Letter from R. Machluf Krispin to his brother-in-law R. Elazar Abuchatzeira [the "Baba Elazar"]. Erfoud, Morocco, [1958]. The content of this letter is particularly interesting: "My beloved, I am pleased to inform you that your father is extremely happy with your progress and your behavior, and that all the grief that your father had due to your past conduct has been transformed to unparalleled joy…" * Letter from R. Machluf Krispin to R. Shlomo Motosov. [Erfoud, Morocco], 1958. The letter is regarding the education of Baruch Abuchatzeira, (later famous as the "Baba Baruch"). R. Krispin writes: "R. Yisrael Abuchatzeira has instructed me to write regarding his son Baruch, that he should be treated as any other child, and his misbehavior should not be ignored…".
Three letters. Size varies. Good condition. The two letters from R. Krispin are carbon copies of the original typewritten letters, and are signed by R. Krispin.
