The Zionist Shekel - collection of receipts
A collection of 23 receipts for the contribution of the "Zionist Shekel" which paid annual membership fees in the Zionist Organization and allowed its donors to vote in the elections to the Congress.
Among them: three receipts for the donation of the Shekel Czechoslovakia 1937, from the back a JNF stamp was attached], 1939 and 1949; "Shekel Hayovel" receipt for donation of Shekel Antwerp [Belgium] 1947; Receipts for the donation of shekels Various places from the years 1931, 1932, [1936], 1942, two receipts from 1946,1948, and several receipts from the 1950s.
From the regulations appearing on the back of the receipts: "Every shokel is given the right, if he reaches his eighteenth year, to choose the axis for the Zionist Congress. And by the time he reaches his twenty-fourth year, he will fulfill his obligation to Keren Hayesod, which can also be chosen as a delegate to the Zionist Congress. "
Various situations, some of the stains and tears, and folding marks, in two of the receipts, the reception center was cut.
