Britain: WWI era set x2 identity tags belonging to Palestinian-Jewish soldier, circa. 1914-1918; weight: 1) 1.95g and 2) 1.65g. Tags bear virtually same information; issued to " Weinstein E | PAL10111 | JEW". The green tag was strung through 1 hole & hung around neck; through 2nd hole, shorter cord strung with red tag on it; red tag was retrieved by cutting its string, leaving green tag on body: if body found only with green tag, was understood that soldier's death already reported. Dated to WW1 but ID begins with "PAL" ('Palestine') as in WW2, and not "RF" ('Royal Fusiliers') as the Palestinian units in WWI were known: soldier may have been a Palestinian resident or in Zion Mule Corps.
