Book on the Torah by Rabbi Shlomo Ephraim of Lunchitz (the Kli Yakar). Printed by Moshe ben Yosef Betzalel Katz. Two stamps of ownership (page 58(1) and 116(1)) of the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager son of the Rav Shlita of Vizhnitz, Avdak of Obervissa.” Additional partially erased stamp on the cover, probably of Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Zionz, Av Beit Din of Alkosh. Page 116(2) has a 2-line note. Cover has an unreadable rabbinical signature. And a signature page after the cover "Ze'ev Wolf Bmohr"r David Tabil". | The Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager of Vishova (1885-1941) was the eldest son of the Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz. Starting in 1908 he served as Av Beit Din of Vizhnitz, according to the tradition that the eldest son of the Admor served as the “young Rav.” In 1921 he was appointed rabbi of Vishova, where he established the Beit Yisrael yeshiva where more than 400 students studied. After his father died in 1936, he began to be Admor. He was a leader of Agudat Yisrale and a member of the Council of Torah Sages. His bones were brought for burial in Israel and he is in the section for Admorim of Vizhnitz. Moth marks. Professional repairs. New binding. | 122 pages. 31cm. Generally good condition.
