A 10 cent coin from the Lubavitcher Rebbe's holy hands - 'Channukah gelt' - rare.
A coin of 1 dime [10 cents] given from the holy hands of the Lubavitcher Rebbe as Channukah gelt.
The matter of the blessing in the currency from the Rebbe: On Hanukkah 1951, the Rebbe called upon the students of the Central Yeshiva in 770, who kept the order of study in Chasidus to come to his room. The Rebbe told them a conversation and at the end of the prayer he announced that he would give them Hanukkah money from the Rabbi's treasury, and that "whoever takes a penny is blessed. " Afterwards, the Rebbe distributed one coin to each of them.
If so, we have a coin from the Rebbe, and it is appropriate to bring blessing to the holder.
Very good condition.
