"Haggadat HaCheirut" - Non-Traditional Haggadah. Tel Aviv, Immigrant Camps - Tel Aviv Camps. 1944.

Non-traditional haggadah, stencil print with illustrations. Many texts relating to the Holocaust of Polish Jewry, with first-hand accounts by the haggadah writers. Tel Aviv, [1944].

Page 25 features a terrible story that happened in Poland one year earlier [1943]: "The story of 93 young Jewish girls from the Beit Yaakov yeshivah in Poland, who fell into German hands and were brought to a brothel. They joined together and drank poison and they died pure. That is the way 93 Jewish girls died; they who did not want to contaminate their flesh and defile their honor died heroes Al Kiddush Hashem and for the honor of Israel, the story happened in 1943.

With another story about a nurse who treated injured people when Warsaw was attacked: "Tremendous strength of character, the revelation of humanity of these Jewish pioneers as the last on the wall ... the great destruction a small group of Jewish boys and girls, sons and daughters of a beaten nation. They sanctified humanity and the movement. "Here the pioneering member ... a member in the pioneering hospital, in which a bomb fell on the first day of the bombardment. She arranged the injured on her own and provided a refuge for them and she came into the aerial bombardment of Warsaw to take care of the transfer of those who were recuperating and then returned to her post that very night."

Another passage relates to the unity amongst kibbutz members: "Behold they are all together a group of young friends - in the height of the confusion of the days, on the main road, plan operations, and guide the flow of members to the Vilna refuge ... taking care to establish kibbutzim here in the occupied territory, fervently working to assure a proud appearance ..." Also includes passages describing the destruction of European Jewry.
