Letter from the Netziv to His Son Rabbi Chaim Berlin Regarding Publishing His Remarks on Anti Semitism

A letter dated 1886 from Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Yehuda Berlin, Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta of Volozhin, to his son Rabbi Chaim Berlin.
In his letter, the Netziv requests that his son review his "Yisrael Ba'amim" pamphlet since Rabbi Kosovsky had remarked to him that he be wary of printing it, " …less it devour me and the holy yeshiva."
This is in regard to the "She'ar Yisrael" pamphlet written by the Netziv and published in 1887 at the end of his commentary on Shir Hashirim, where he discusses the source of antisemitism and hate towards Jews.
On the back side of the letter there is a response to a question posed by his son.
The letter is written entirely by the Netziv and signed.
Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Yehuda Berlin (1816 - 1893), also known as the Netziv, was the Rosh Yeshivah of the Volozhin yeshivah. He began to study in Volozhin at the young age of eleven, and at age thirteen Rabbi Yitzchak of Volozhin took him for a son-in-law. After twenty-five years of in depth study he became Rosh Yeshivah, leading the yeshivah to extraordinary fame and success for fifty years. He authored Eimek Davar, Emek She'ailah and Meishiv Davar.
