The poster describes the goals of "Keren Ha'Yesod" at this time, "a time when the fate of our nation will be decided upon together with the fate of the world". The poster was published a year after the end of World War II, on the background of therevival of the Jewish nation on its land.
The hope of "Keren Ha'Yesod" was to raise during the month millions of Lirot from Jews all around the world in order to help develop the Hebrew economy and help the surviving remnants in Europe immigrate to Israel. The poster describes all the industries that are assisted by "Keren ha'Yesod".
The poster ends with a touching call: "he with the spirit of volunteerism in his heart - will join those who act and the actions for the Keren".
The poster is signed by "Ha'Va'ad Ha'Artzi Le'Keren Ha'Yesod Be'Eretz Yisrael". (The national committee of Keren Ha'Yesod in the Land of Israel).
