A Palestinian festive dress - Khedary, Bethlehem, c. 1920. Ottoman velvet fabric. With patchwork of various fabrics. Rich couching with silk and metal thread. Bethlehem "watch" patterns on sleeves and side panels. Length: 136 cm, maximal width: 135 cm. Overall fair condition, wear to the velvet, minor flaws to the embroidery.
