Early version of IDF emblem hat badge, circa. 1948-early 1950s; not maker-marked; 7.7g. Bears two-pronged malleable pin backing, and would have been worn on Hitelmacher hats or briefly on visored hats (until corps emblems replaced this generic army-wide emblem).
