Situs Chorographia et Flumina Paradisi in Terra Canaan. An antique map of the Garden of Eden by Philipp Cluver. The map covers the region from Armenia through the Arabian Peninsula with north oriented to the left and Eden shown to be in the region of present-day Iraq. Cluver's Introductio in Universam Geographicam was a popular atlas, appearing in over 45 editions during a 100-year period. The first edition to include maps was published c. 1641.
