Accompanied by an 18th-century miniature Shivithi manuscript leaf on vellum. 2 x 3 inches. Artistic micrographic depiction of a menorah in the center, with verses of Psalm LXVII arranged in shape of the seven-branches of the candelabrum, with stylized flowers at the base. Used as a bookmark. ff. 196, 12. Signatures and inscriptions by former owners on front and back fly leaves in Hebrew, German and Danish including family histories dated 1769-1842. Contemporary morocco with silver clasps and hinges engraved with initial “JG 1736” on the clasps, slightly rubbed at edges. 12mo. Vinograd, Amsterdam 1246 (not in NLI).
