The Machanayim moshava was located near Rosh Pinah and Yesod HaMa'ale. It had recently been established, and the farmers were obligated to give all their produce to their debtors while they remained without bread. Signed by 15 heads of families in the moshava on the 7th of Kislev, 1901. This appeal led to the establishment of a public committee for their assistance. However, in 1903, the residents of Machanayim abandoned their homes, sold their land, and received compensation.
