Letter typewritten in Kislev, 1977. Call to ban the ritual slaughter of chickens that hang by their feet on a "flick machine." Ritual slaughter is only permissible if the chicken is held by hand by its feet and wings. This ban bears the original, handwritten signatures of the rabbis of the Machzikei Hada'as congregation in Antwerp: Rabbi Chaim Kreiswirth [1922-2002] and Rabbi Eliyahu Sternbuch.
