Letter from Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Shapiro
[1] letterhead. 23x17 cm.
Letter written and signed by Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Shapiro. The letter was sent to Rabbi Yechezkel Landa on the 25th of Nissan, 1981. In the margins, the rabbi mentions a task regarding locating a manuscript; "The advice of the Mashgiach shlit"a, we must fulfill, because I heard that there are many manuscripts in Paris, and who knows if you weren't dispatched for that..."
Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Shapiro [1917-2006] was Rosh Yeshiva in Be'er Yaakov, a member of the Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah of Agudat Yisrael and then of Degel HaTorah, and a member of the Nesiut of the Vaad HaYeshivot and Mifal Hashas.
Very fine condition.
