Sefer HaTanya, the first edition printed in Israel. Tel Aviv 1943.
Likkutei Amarim Tanya printed at the height of the Shoah, and the first printed in Israel, by the chassid Pinchas Althaus. Ever since the printing of the Tanya by the Ram Widow and Brothers in Vilna (1900), all subsequent editions (until today) have been published as facsimiles of that edition—this edition is the exception! It was reprinted with new letters, and was not a facsimile of the prior editions. Mondschein Sefer HaTanya Edition #40.
[2], 2-163 leaves. Moth holes, stains, the binding and two pages are partially detached, good condition.
