Letter by the great Gaon Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer to the Rav of Bnei Berak the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Landau, about helping a great Talmid Chacham who reached an old age. 1952.
A wonderful letter handwritten by Maran the great Gaon Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer to the great Gaon Rabbi Yaakov landau, dealing with finding a worthy place of residence for the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Eliezer Carmel and his wife the Rebbetzen in a nursing home in Bnei Berak.
The Even HaEzel notes Rabbi Carmel's religious greatness, his being a close disciple of the Saba of Slabodka and a great Talmid Chacham. Rabbi Carmel was also a disciple of Maran the Chofetz Chaim.
