Psak Din of the Beis Din Tzeddek of the Ashekaniz community of Jerusalem pertaining to residents of the houses of Kollel Ungrain in the Nachalas Zvi neighborhood of Jerusalem. Jerusalem, Kislev [1905]. With stamps of the Beis Din and the handwritten signatures of [5] of rge Dayanim of Jerusalem. 


"We have decided that these houses ... belong to Reb Sender and Reb Z. Wolf and they can live in them their whole life and after longevity the right will be returned to the above Kollel to draw names of members of the Kollel who will be permitted to live in them for three years..." Psak Din signed by the Dayanim of the Badatz of the Asheknazic community and the Beis Din of the Ashkenazic Chassidic community of Jerusalem and with stamps of the Beis Din. 


[1] leaf, 23 cm. With [2] stamps of the Beis Din and [5] handwritten signatures of the Dayanim: 

* Rabbi Chaim Yaakov [ben Rabbi Menachem Zundel] Shapiro (1832-1908) a disciple of his grandfather Rabbi Leibaleh Kovner. Dayan of the Beis Din of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchonon Spektor of Kovno. Immigrated to Jerusalem in 1891 and served as Rosh Av Beis Din of the Beis Din of Rabbi Shmuel Salant. 

* Rabbi Aryeh Leib ben Rabbi Elimelech Dov [Hershler] (passed away in 1917] - immigrated with his family from Pinsk to Jerusalem at the age of one. A disciple of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Baharan. Received his Hora'ah Semicha from Rabbi Shmuel Salant and the Maharil Diskin. Since 1892 was Moreh Hora'ah and Dayan in Jerusalem. Was one of the founders of the Beis Yisroel, Nachalas Zvi, Givat Shaul and Sha'arei Pinah neighbohoods of Jerusalem. Served also as the president of HaVa'ad Hakelali Knesses Yisroel. 

* Rabbi Lipman David ben Rabbi Yisroel Yitzchak [Shuvaks] (1830-1924) the only one who received his Hora'ah Semicha from the holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kock and was even appointed by him Moreh Hora'ah in Kock. Studied Chevruta with the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham of Sochatchov author of Avnei Nezer and attended the lessons of the author of Chidushei haRim. Immigrated to Jerusalem and served as Rosh Av Beis Din Badatz Kollelos Chassidim of Jerusalem since its establishment; 1901. Author of Chidushei HaGrad.  

* Rabbi Yosef Yehuda ben Rabbi David Halevi [Strasberg] (1821-1911) since 1861, Rosh Av Beis Din of Kosov. Immigrated to Jerusalem in 1896 and served as Dayan of Badatz Chassidim. Author of Shut Yad Yosef on the Shulchan Aruch. Established and headed the Zekenim Talmidei Chachamim Yeshiva. 

* Rabbi Avraham [Moshe Dov ber] ben Rabbi David Hacohen Friedman [Schlesinger] (ca. 1853-1913) author of the Sefer Tov Ayin. The son-in-law of Rabbi Akiva Yosef Schlesinger. 


Fold marks, minor stains, small tears to the perimeter of the leaf, gluing to the lower part of the leaf, good condition.
