יחיד"א ליחדך! Manuscript by Rabbeinu the Chida - Additions to 'Ha'alem Davar' which were Never Printed!

Capable of Yiras Shamayim and exalted spiritual virtues! A leaf handwritten by Rabbeinu the Chida - Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulai, from a draft of Kuntras 'Ha'alem Davar', with letters that have never been printed and important textual variations compared to the printed version.

A leaf handwritten by Rabbeinu the Chida, with 27 clauses, written as a draft of his composition 'Ha'alem Davar'. Ha'alem Davar, a short composition by Rabbeinu the Chida, introducing 'questions and queries very concisely'. This important and unique composition disappeared for many years until the scholar Mr. Meir Bnayahu found and edited it. Indeed, many scholars assumed that there are additional comments or that some of the comments were not copied accurately, since Rabbeinu the Chida himself introduces several queries elsewhere, referring to his Sefer 'Ha'alem Davar' yet they do not appear in this Sefer.

This is a manuscript with five comments and enquiries which do not appear in the printed version of 'Ha'alem Davar' and they are 'the hidden within the hidden' and were never printed! Alongside these, additional comments were printed with textual variations and a differing expansion from what appears in this manuscript.

The great Rav Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulai the Chida [1724-1806] which is also known in Chassidic communities as 'The Azulai'. An admired holy Gaon. Famed for his journeys and travels. Among Tzaddikim, it is known that studying his Seforim is most capable of Yiras Shamayim and Kirvas Elokim.

[1] leaf, 18 cm. letters 75-102 of the draft of his great Sefer 'Ha'alem Davar', Sephardic script of the Chida. Enclosed is confirmation by an expert, Rabbi Shimon Schwartz.

Placed in a new, elegant and decorated leather binding, minor aging stains, slight moth holes, good-very good condition.
